Microsoft’s e-learning program on how we view others is free again to IAMCP members
Do you know what you’re thinking?
It seems obvious, yet research shows that most of us form opinions of others almost immediately. And sometimes those opinions are biased, even although we aren’t consciously aware of them.
Last year, Microsoft offered an e-learning program on Unconscious Bias to help us understand how we might be viewing others. And it was so successful, they are offering it again, free of charge to IAMCP members.
How Microsoft is helping bridge the bias gap
Microsoft’s diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategy mandates that all global employees take part in unconscious bias training, so that they can play their fullest part to embrace all people in a fair and equal way, no matter their country of origin, race, colour, gender, background, lifestyle, etc.
By opening up the dialogue, Microsoft enables all employees to feel free to speak out against any form of prejudice that they see, making the culture more inclusive and accepting for everyone.
“Unconscious Bias training is part of Microsoft’s strategy and aligns with the objectives of our own D&I Committee. Participation in the training ensures that we’re all on the same page when it comes to embracing differences in the workplace.” – Sérgio Baptista, President, IAMCP International
The IAMCP is delighted to help you start your organizational conversation through exclusive member access to Microsoft’s Unconscious Bias Training to support you in the thinking, development and/or enhancement of your diversity and inclusion strategy.
Let’s all play our part to stamp out biases and be part of an open-minded, fair world. Today.
