Despite what you may have heard, social media can be used for selling! Social-selling techniques empower salespeople to leverage the technology of social media to help with the human connections between sales and their prospects to engage, drive, and convert more business. In the session, we cover some best practices the most successful sellers are using today, including how to get started and use social selling in your business.

About our Speaker

Jon Rivers has been recognized as a pioneer within the Microsoft social community for his leadership in helping partners develop a social brand and strategy that deploys education, drives business growth and increases their resource network. Jon runs Marketing Monarchs a boutique Marketing Company specializing in Social Strategies, execution and training that helps ISV’s, Partners and other organizations within the Microsoft ecosystem. Prior to Marketing Monarchs Jon worked at a well-known ISV providing Microsoft Dynamics partners assistance during their ERP sales cycle. Jon has over 16+ years’ experience with integrating ISV/ 3rd-party solutions for Microsoft Dynamics and other major ERPs. Jon is a frequent presenter at Microsoft-focused events and has been tapped as a Social Media Ambassador for multiple events like Inspire and what used to be Convergence as well as Summit. With 17K+ LinkedIn connections and 6K+ Twitter followers, Jon has garnered social media expertize that has he shared through the publication of two eBooks for the Microsoft Dynamics community as well as through his regular blogs. Jon also serves on various boards including the following: IAMCP (International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners) MarCom Committee Chair & Tampa Chapter President, Directions North America Board of Advisors, The Association of Dynamics Professionals and others.
